I am a 25-year-old speech-language pathologist, vegetarian foodie, wine and chocolate lover, and dog obsessed. I got my undergraduate degree at Ohio University (go bobcats!) in the beautiful town of Athens, Ohio. I received my Master’s Degree at the University of Cincinnati.
The meaning behind the name: olivewineandfood. I have a flat coat retriever named “Olive”, and her name came from my boyfriend and I always saying Olive you (I love you, get it? yeah i know, embarrassing). So…I’m obsessed with my dog(s), wine, and food…olive wine and food!
Thanks for stopping by!

I think that is such a cute name for your dog and a cute story.

I just stumbled onto your blog from peanut butter fingers, and am very happy I did! I’m just about to graduate from undergrad, and am anxiously waiting to hear back from Speech-Language Pathology programs in Canada. Excited to hear more about your experiences, and congrats on almost being done!

Yay for wine, hiking, and good food!
I’m happy that I’ve found your blog! My own has taken some changes in direction (from merely food to a broader range of stuff), so you never know where it goes. Exciting!
Is a great names for a blog – has the Olive Oil theme going on as an undercurrent so is even more appealing!
My blog is about wine and food too, and olive Oils, so not really about the dogs – but we talk about chooks? If that covers it?
Cheers, Ben
